Job summary

Hiring Today is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The role involves performing monthly inventory counts, working with shop crews and management to reduce shrink and improve operations, and communicating data-driven insights to drive solutions.

You will travel between shops, collaborate with managers, and participate in ongoing training and development to advance operations and loss prevention across locations.

• Have some retail or food service management or accounting experience.
• Enjoy people and want to help teach and train.
• Outgoing personality with the ability to share data and have tough conversations with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Physical count of inventory to calculate inventory shrink.
• Cash verification.
• Check and resolve product code issues.
• Explain and teach the value of our shop accounting system to shop crew members and managers.
• Assist with operational and personnel issues.
• Travel from shop to shop.
