Hiring Today is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in New York. The role involves physical inventory counts to reduce shrink, cash verification, and resolving product code issues, while teaching shop crews about our accounting system.

You will travel to multiple shops, support management, and help solve operational issues. The position offers a starting wage of $18–$20 per hour with benefits and training opportunities.

We are looking to add Inventory Control Specialists to our team. Our auditors conduct monthly shop inventory and work with the shop crew and management to help control loss and improve operations. In addition to finding problems and opportunities you will be required to be part of the solution.

• Have some retail or food service management or accounting experience.
• Enjoy people and want to help teach and train.
• Have an outgoing personality with the ability to share data and have tough conversations with all levels of management.

Responsibilities:

• Physical count of inventory to calculate inventory shrink.
• Cash verification.
• Check and resolve product code issues.
• Explain and teach the value of our shop accounting system to shop crew members and managers.
• Assist with operational and personnel issues.
• Work with managers to solve shrink issues.
• Travel from shop to shop.
