Job summary

GEODIS in Atlanta is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records. You will analyze variances, log root causes, and support continuous improvements within the warehouse environment.

The role requires at least 6 months of related experience, a forklift qualification, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:45 PM, in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to log data and maintain accurate records in WMS.

Responsibilities

• Conducts inventory cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Compiles and reports daily statistics to detect trends.
• Investigates variances to identify root causes.
• Counts and reconciles parts and locations.
• Supports process improvement initiatives with leadership.
