Job summary

MSI in Pooler, GA is seeking an Inventory Specialist to execute cycle counts and maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound inventory. The role requires forklift operation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions under pressure.

The position offers full-time hours with a 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM schedule, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent required.
• 1 year of inventory experience required
• 1-2 years of Warehouse experience
• One (1) year of experience operating a Forklift
• Ability to use a computer or tablet a plus
• Good communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, gather and maintain all data relative to shipping activities
• Conducting and managing the physical inventory process of all products.
• Monitor and/or conduct physical Inventory counts, analyze variances and reconcile discrepancies. Determine the inventory difference and implement applicable appropriate corrective actions.
• Conducting cycle counting and must be comfortable completing it on a daily basis.
• Operate equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, pallet jacks and more safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
• Perform additional duties as required and or requested.
