Job summary

Monarch Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, CO is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage receiving, match paperwork to vendor invoices, and create variances when needed. The role includes cycle counts across warehouse and retail areas and coordinating with Purchasing and Accounts Payable for payments.

As a warehouse-focused position, you will maintain master files, support monthly kitchen and bar counts, and uphold standard inventory procedures throughout the property.

Qualifications

• Physical dexterity required for inventories, including kneeling or bending.
• Able to stand for long periods while counting inventory.
• Experience with inventory control and counting procedures is preferred.
• Must know 10-key calculator by touch.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Computer literacy required and basic office software knowledge.
• Retail background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research inventory variances and document explanations with final sign-off by management.
• Conduct Cycle Count Inventories for Retail areas (Spa/Salon, Gift Shop, Sundry Shop, Bistro Napa, Steakhouse wine, liquor, and warehouse).
• Document variances in writing and obtain signatures from relevant areas.
• Input/assist in monthly Kitchen counts for all Monarch Casino Resort Spa restaurants.
• Input/assist in monthly Bar counts for beer/liquor/wine.
• Maintain master files in the SWS System for the company.
• Ensure standard inventory procedures are followed at the company level.
