Job summary

Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory records, costs, par levels, and cost-control information. You will process daily transactions, maintain data for purchase requests, research discrepancies, and support physical inventories.

The role requires accurate use of the Stratton Warren system and collaboration with Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse, Food & Beverage, and accounting staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of inventory control experience preferred.
• Stratton Warren experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and inventory data.
• Ability to learn inventory systems and collaborate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate item, vendor, location, unit-of-measure, pricing, and cost information in Stratton Warren.
• Regularly review and update inventory par levels in Stratton Warren to support purchase requests and orders.
• Process, review, and validate inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, requisitions, returns, adjustments, and physical inventories.
• Monitor Stratton Warren transactions; research exceptions and errors, and assist with corrections.
• Reconcile inventory purchases, receipts, transfers, and adjustments with invoices and documents.
• Assist Accounting with month-end inventory reconciliation and COGS reporting.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts and participate in physical inventories.
• Research variances and document findings with recommended corrections.
• Prepare routine inventory and variance reports for management review.
• Identify unusual inventory activity and communicate findings to management.
