Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct daily cycle count activities.
  • Collect and enter data into the ERP system.
  • Generate daily cycle count variance report and review in daily production meeting.
  • Analyze, investigate and assist in correcting inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with incoming inventory, receiving discrepancies and negative inventory.
  • Monitor production and warehouse for proper flow of goods and storage.
  • Train cycle count team members, provide back‑up support and guidance for other department members as needed.
  • Update and maintain cycle count and inventory control related work instructions.

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Coordinator is the subject matter expert for all things related to inventory movement, storage and accuracy. The role is responsible for managing raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished goods inventory by performing daily cycle counts.

Essential Job Functions
  • Coordinate and conduct daily cycle count activities.
  • Collect and enter data into the ERP system.
  • Generate daily cycle count variance report and review in daily production meeting.
  • Analyze, investigate and assist in correcting inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with incoming inventory, receiving discrepancies and negative inventory.
  • Monitor production and warehouse for proper flow of goods and storage.
  • Train cycle count team members, provide back‑up support and guidance for other department members as needed.
  • Update and maintain cycle count and inventory control related work instructions.
Requirements

  • Must be able to operate and maintain a forklift certification.
  • General knowledge of ERP
  • Strong math skills including the ability to calculate material usage percentages and inventory variance trends.
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Must be able to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions.
