HD Supply in Illinois seeks an Inventory Control Associate for a distribution center. You will serve as the point of contact for inventory tasks and operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.

Responsibilities include monitoring and recording received and stocked merchandise, completing cycle counts, auditing inventory against daily orders, researching discrepancies, and assisting with inventory placement and loading damaged goods.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse duties.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory in the distribution center with accurate records of received and stocked merchandise.
• Complete and review cycle counts and adjust inventory as needed.
• Audit inventory to align with daily order processing.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies per internal procedures.
• Assist with optimal inventory placement based on size and selling volume.
• Load damaged merchandise into delivery vehicles using material handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory control manuals.
• Perform general warehouse duties as required.
