Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc is seeking an Inventory Control Associate for a 5am-1:30pm shift in Lombard, IL. You will serve as the inventory contact, operate material handling equipment, and ensure accuracy across receiving, stocking, and order processing.

The role involves cycle counting, auditing, discrepancy resolution, and proper placement of inventory based on size and demand. Experience in warehousing and strong attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in inventory or warehouse control.
• Experience with cycle counts and inventory audits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory within the distribution center.
• Complete cycle counts and adjust inventory.
• Audit inventory to align with daily order processing.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies per internal procedures.
• Assist with inventory placement based on size and selling volume.
• Help load damaged merchandise into delivery vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Maintain inventory control manuals and perform general warehouse duties.
