Job summary

HD Supply in Northlake, IL is seeking a warehouse associate to manage inventory within a distribution center and operate material handling equipment. You will log received stock, perform cycle counts, and adjust records to keep systems aligned with orders.

The role involves resolving inventory discrepancies, placing items appropriately based on size and demand, and assisting with loading damaged goods for delivery. A HS Diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• If applicable, 2-5 years of experience in inventory control.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory within the distribution center by recording all received and stocked merchandise.
• Complete cycle counts and maintain inventory adjustments.
• Audit inventory to ensure systems align with daily order processing.
• Research and resolve inventory issues and discrepancies per internal controls.
• Assist with loading damaged merchandise into delivery vehicles using equipment.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed.
