Job summary

Pacific Rubber & Packing, Inc. in San Carlos, CA is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure materials are available for customer orders and production.

You will work with Operations, Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service to optimize the flow of materials. The role emphasizes attention to detail, process improvement, and hands-on warehouse experience, including cycle counts, ERP transactions, and coordinating with multiple teams to meet delivery

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control or related field.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong computer proficiency and data entry skills.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management systems (SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar).
• Ability to learn new systems and maintain accurate inventory records and transactions.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory integrity and ERP records.
• Monitor inventory levels via cycle counts and audits.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies aligning system and physical inventory.
• Organize inventory locations to improve accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Pull and stage materials for orders and production work orders.
• Communicate inventory status with Planning, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support production schedules by ensuring materials are available.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes and efficiency.
• Contribute to culture of quality, teamwork, safety and continuous improvement.
