United States Cold Storage, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist (1st shift) in a full-time on-site role in McDonough, GA. You will resolve inventory discrepancies, perform cycle counts, and maintain records to support audits and customer inquiries.

You’ll collaborate with leadership and other departments to ensure accuracy and smooth warehouse operations. Ideal candidates will have HS diploma, experience with Excel/Word, and familiarity with scanners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory control.
• Able to operate scanners and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Solve inventory discrepancies during normal warehousing operations and communicate with leadership.
• Perform cycle count, work orders, and other inventory checks to answer customer inquiries.
• Enter or update inventory records in the system to correct discrepancies.
• Liaise for warehouse needs during internal/external audits or visits.
• Perform customer hold procedures including labeling, relocating, and daily cycle counts.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and take corrective action using reports.
• Prepare inventory reports for customers and facility needs.
• Operate equipment at heights and recover pallets improperly seated on racks.
• Assist in escalated or critical situations and participate in physical inventories.
• Communicate discrepancies to Customer Accounts and other departments.
