Job summary

United States Cold Storage Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist for the 2nd shift to manage inventory accuracy and cycle counts in our Wilmington, IL facility.

The role involves resolving discrepancies, updating records, and supporting audits and customer visits. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, forklift and inventory experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: forklift and inventory experience preferred
• Problem-solving skills required
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Solve inventory discrepancies during normal warehousing operations and communicate with leadership.
• Perform cycle count, work orders, and other inventory checks to answer customer inquiries.
• Responsible for the entry or update of inventory records in the system to correct discrepancies.
• Liaise for warehouse-related needs regarding internal/external audits or customer visits.
• Perform customer hold procedures including labeling, relocating, and daily cycle count checks.
