Job summary

Ore-Designs, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Specialist & Driver for our Woods Cross, UT facility. You will handle receiving, stock labeling, and materials transport, with local vendor pickups and production support.

The role requires 1–2 years in warehouse receiving and inventory flow, safety compliance, and basic computer skills (NetSuite, Word, Excel). Forklift certification and a clean Utah driving record are required.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a receiving warehouse environment.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in inventory flow systems.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of all relevant safety, quality, and housekeeping standards for the entire warehouse.
  • Basic proficiency in using a computer, i.e. NetSuite, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Ability to perform basic visual quality inspections on products.
  • Must be able to obtain a valid and current forklift certification.
  • Current Utah Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
  • Operate company vehicle to pick up raw materials, hardware, and supplies from local vendors and suppliers, and run errands as needed.
  • Complete and analyze inventory adjustments for monthly counts, cycle counts, audits, and bin checks.
  • Record and process all paper documentation for all receiving protocols.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Operate a forklift and other machinery to load, unload, sort, store in inventory, stage products for production, and transport products.

Pay & Schedule
  • Full-Time Day Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
  • Hours may vary slightly depending on business needs and demands.
  • $19-$23 per hour, DOE.

The employee must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions, due to the openness of the manufacturing facility.

The Receiving Specialist & Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and moving materials into and out of our Woods Cross facility. This individual handles the day-to-day tasks of warehouse receiving, incoming inspections, and inventory control, and safely operates a company vehicle as the primary driver for local vendor pickups and material transport.
