Job summary

Pexco in Wisconsin seeks an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory records and support material movement across the facility. You will perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, verification, and reconciliation in collaboration with Production, Shipping & Receiving, and Purchasing.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, familiarity with ERP systems, forklift operation, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or factory experience.
• Experience with inventory control or ERP systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to accurately count, record, and reconcile inventory.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and other company inventory.
• Perform inventory transactions accurately and timely within ERP or inventory management system.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with scheduled physical inventories.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and communicate findings.
• Verify inventory quantities, part numbers, and locations; maintain FIFO where applicable.
• Monitor inventory locations and ensure materials are organized and identifiable.
• Assist with movement and organization of materials throughout the facility.
• Verify labels, quantities, and identification of materials during movements.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and accessible inventory areas.
• Identify damaged, obsolete, or unidentified materials and communicate concerns.
• Compare physical inventory to system records and research discrepancies.
• Review inventory documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with adjustments to inventory records as authorized.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, counts, and adjustments.
• Support efforts to improve inventory accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
