Job summary

Wisconsin-Plastic-Products,-Inc. is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods while supporting material movement and organization across the facility.

You will perform ERP-based transactions, cycle counts, reconciliations, and verification of labels and locations, with forklift duties and a focus on inventory accuracy and safe handling in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or factory experience.
• Experience with inventory control or ERP systems.
• Forklift experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to accurately count, record, and reconcile inventory.
• Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods, and other company inventory.
• Perform inventory transactions accurately and timely within the company’s ERP or inventory management system.
• Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with scheduled physical inventories.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.
• Verify inventory quantities, part numbers, and locations.
• Maintain proper FIFO practices where applicable.
• Monitor inventory locations to ensure materials are properly organized and identifiable.
• Assist with the movement and organization of materials throughout the facility.
• Ensure materials and finished goods are placed in the correct designated locations.
• Verify labels, quantities, and identification of materials during inventory movements.
• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and accessible inventory areas.
• Identify damaged, obsolete, or unidentified materials and communicate concerns to management.
• Compare physical inventory to system records and research discrepancies.
• Review inventory documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with adjustments to inventory records as authorized.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, counts, and adjustments.
• Support efforts to improve inventory accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
