Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc is seeking an Inventory Clerk to support Sioux Falls production and offsite warehouse locations. You will count inventory, enter data in Excel, and research discrepancies to ensure accurate counts across facilities.

You will create packing and shipping documents, communicate with teams, attend production meetings, and help with scheduling. The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and Excel proficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office products; accuracy in Excel data entry with limited direction.

Responsibilities

• Count and enter inventory data into spreadsheets for main production plant and offsite warehouse locations in Sioux Falls.
• Research inventory discrepancies and correct counts by checking move tickets, locations, and shipping/receiving information.
• Create and assist with pick lists, packing lists, bill of lading, and international paperwork for shipping/receiving.
• Communicate with front office staff, shipping/receiving team, and managers throughout the day.
• Attend daily production meetings and assist with production scheduling for upcoming inventory.
• Print and distribute labels for production runs; ensure labels are accurate.
• Inventory production supplies and email counts to stakeholders to aid with ordering and logistics.

Do you have prior Excel experience, thrive in a position that requires detail and organization, and enjoy researching discrepancies and finding solutions? Preform Solutions would love for you to join our growing team as an Inventory Clerk.

We are proud to be a Sioux Falls locally owned and operated manufacturer of plastic containers for the packaging industry for over 25 years.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately count and enter inventory count data into a spreadsheet for main production plant and offsite warehouse locations (all in Sioux Falls)
• Research any inventory discrepancies and correct by checking move tickets, physical locations, and shipping/receiving information to determine correct counts
• Create and assist with pick lists, packing lists, bill of lading, and international paperwork for shipping/receiving
• Communicate with front office staff, shipping and receiving team, and other managers throughout the day as needed
• Attend daily production meeting and work with production scheduling to determine additional inventory being created
• Print and distribute labels for production runs and additional labels; labels are detailed and must be accurate
• Inventory production supplies
• Email inventory counts to stakeholders to assist with both supply ordering and logistics planning
• Assist with administrative and production duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must Include:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow-up timely
• Attention to detail
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office products; must be able to complete accurate data entry into Excel with limited direction
• Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to easily traverse production area, including stairs
• Work station will be on the production floor; ability to work in production environment with background noise
• Must have a current driver's license; will need to travel to other warehouse locations in Sioux Falls to verify inventory counts

Hours

• Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm

Compensation

• Starting rate of $24.00/hour
