Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking a hardworking Inventory Control associate to join our distribution team in Sarasota, FL. You will track inventory, maintain records, analyze discrepancies, and work with multiple departments to safeguard product integrity.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and timely reporting in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include cycle counts, SOX compliance, and supporting salvage and replenishment activities as needed.

Qualifications

• License to operate powered industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines.
• Understanding of Bakco functions and RF systems.
• Understanding of warehouse procedures for a global company.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Track and maintain SOX compliance relative to 3rd party audit and company standards.
• Schedules and coordinates all physical inventories and cycle counts including date checks.
• Prepares physical inventory recaps for distribution to management.
• Reviews and develops inventory control procedures as appropriate.
• Identifies and resolves internal shrink problems.
• Monitors daily reports for inventory control.
• Maintains records retention per corporate policies.
