Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control team member to track and manage inventory within our distribution centers.

The role involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating counts, and communicating with multiple departments to prevent shrink and optimize stock availability. You will monitor expiration dates, report damages, and support the implementation of inventory policies, while operating powered equipment and adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Track and maintain inventory within distribution centers.
• Research discrepancies and ensure accuracy of inventory records.
• Monitor expiration dates and damages/adjustments and report findings.

Responsibilities

• Track and maintain SOX compliance relative to 3rd Party audit and Company standards.
• Schedule and coordinate all physical inventories and cycle counts; date checks.
• Prepare physical inventory recaps for distribution to management.
• Review and develop inventory control procedures as appropriate.
• Identify and resolve internal shrink problems and variances.
• Monitor, analyze, and act on daily inventory reports.
