Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control team member to help track all inventory within our distribution centers. You will maintain accuracy, research discrepancies, and support management with safety and efficiency in the warehouse.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, inventory reporting, reporting adjustments, and collaboration with Operations and others. Candidates should be licensed to operate powered industrial equipment, have strong communication and detail

Qualifications

• Licensed to operate powered industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
• Understanding of warehouse paperwork and inventory reporting.
• Awareness of cross-department processes to understand overall workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physical inventories, cycle counts, inventory reporting, and control processes.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and process system inventory adjustments.
• Manage product location verification, quality concerns, shrink, damages, returns, and salvage activities.
• Process return-to-vendor requests, chargebacks, food bank donations, and salvage programs.
• Safely operate equipment and maintain compliance with SOX audits and company procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with Operations, Inventory Control, QC, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
