Position Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Pay: $26 an hour

Overview
The Inventory Control Coordinator position is a position where the analyst is expected to visually inspect inventory daily to make sure the actual quantity on-hand is in line with the quantity listed in the system.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records for internal audits and reporting requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring the annual inventory cycle count procedures are followed and reports are completed and reported in a timely manner.
- Create a nonverbal reporting method for inventory order request. (P-Cards, group email address, visual management board, etc.)
- Conduct weekly cycle counts on packaged raw materials to ensure inventory accuracy.
- This is especially important during peak season and counts on some raw materials may need to be completed daily.
- Visit outside warehouse locations weekly to ensure our inventory is not damaged and is stored properly.
- Ensure all documents are closed, filed and posted accurately in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update item locations, descriptions, and classifications in our operating system.
- Support item transfers, adjustments, and returns with accurate documentation and timely data entry.
- Assist in the implementation of best practices to reduce inventory inaccuracies and improve traceability.
- Required to learn specific duties and responsibilities of the Buyer/Planner role to be their backup when they are out on leave or PTO.
- You will be required to be proficient in all aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of inventory control experience specifically within a manufacturing, assembly, or industrial facility.
- Technical Skills: Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, IQMS) and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
