Job DescriptionJob Description

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for performing inventory reconciliations between physical readings and the ERP system. Identifying, researching and driving timely resolutions for all discrepancies and researching root cause of discrepancies. The goal of this position is to minimize inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory data in the ERP.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits and complete critical material counts.
  • Work closely with management to maintain proper stock levels and prevent discrepancies in inventory.
  • Examine inventory (bulk bags and 50 pound bags) for quality, proper labeling, general condition.
  • Support implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Assist in improving ERP inventory workflow and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with finance, production and purchasing teams to ensure inventory needs/expectations are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • The ability to remain calm in a fast paced, high-volume environment.

Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
