Job summary
VACCO Industries, a Subsidary of ESCO Technologies Inc. in California, seeks an Inventory Control / Shipping & Receiving associate to perform daily cycle counts, reconcile variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
You will assist in receiving and shipping, verify records in SAP, and work with the Shipping & Receiving Lead to ensure accurate and timely shipments. Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures are essential; a California driver’s license and ability to
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent; 3 years related experience.
- Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in inventory, distribution and manufacturing processes is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inventory cycle counts and reconcile variances.
- Analyze root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement and lean projects in inventory control.
- Assist Shipping & Receiving as needed and back up Lead.
- Coordinate with carriers for shipments and verify bills of lading.
