Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc. in Northford, CT seeks a Storeroom Crib Attendant to support daily receiving, stocking, issuing and cycle counting of inventory at a customer location. You will maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure accurate stock records while coordinating with site staff.

Responsibilities include data entry, documenting discrepancies, and assisting with inventory maintenance. The role requires a High school diploma and basic computer skills, with forklift experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months relevant experience and/or training.
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn; MS-Office familiarity.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives, and stores incoming goods; checks for damage and invoice discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels, moves, and stores items to optimize crib space.
• Issues inventory to site employees and maintains issued/returned records.
• Enters stock data in computer systems and responds to inquiries.
• Performs cycle counts and prepares inventory reports.
• Delivers tools and equipment to work locations and investigates missing items.
