Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking a Storeroom Attendant to support daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting at a customer site. You will maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure accurate stock records while working with a professional team.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months of relevant experience. Forklift experience, basic computer skills, and strong teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months relevant experience.
• Forklift/cherry picker experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn software systems.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and manuals.
• Strong communication and teamwork orientation; detail-oriented and safety minded.

Responsibilities

• Unloads, receives and stores incoming product; checks for damage and discrepancies.
• Sorts, labels, and shelves items to optimize crib space and accessibility.
• Issues items to site employees and maintains accurate records of issued items.
• Enters stock data in database and responds to inquiries on inventory levels.
• Performs cycle counts and assists with inventory reporting.
• Inspects tools/equipment for defects and reports issues to supervisors.
• Delivers tools or equipment to work locations and supports safety procedures.
