Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to manage Direct Store Delivery, ensure accurate receiving, and maintain stocked merchandise. You will walk the store daily, identify stock issues, and partner with store teams to keep promotions and inventory accurate.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in a retail or grocery setting.
• Basic computer skills including email and Excel.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit.
• Maintain cleanliness, security, and order in backroom and receiving areas.
• Make independent inventory decisions and resolve related issues.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, delivery drivers, store management, and associates.
• Lift/carry 5–50 lbs., push/pull 10–50 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods.
• Uphold a positive customer experience through accurate inventory and store readiness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure accurate receiving and stocking.
• Walk the store daily to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and File Maintenance Clerk.
• Communicate with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotional execution.
• Maintain a secure, clean, and organized backroom and inventory flow.
