Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. (Safeway) in McLean, VA is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure merchandise is received, counted, and stocked accurately.

You will scan items, identify out-of-stock or overstock situations, and work with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the Store Director to maintain inventory accuracy and support promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail/grocery environments.
• Basic computer skills including email and Excel.
• Ability to monitor damaged/expired merchandise and process returns for credit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DSD operations and verify receipts.
• Scan DSD items and ensure accurate stocking.
• Collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and Store Director.
