Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) in Hyannis to oversee DSD operations, receive, stock, and reconcile merchandise.

You’ll scan items, identify stock issues, and work with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk to support inventory accuracy and promotions. This role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills including Excel, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail/grocery settings.
• Basic computer skills including email and Excel.
• Ability to monitor damaged/expired merchandise and process returns for credit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) reception, verification, and stocking of goods.
• Scan DSD items, identify stockouts/overstocks, and coordinate with staff.
• Maintain backroom organization, security, and cleanliness; support promotions.
