The Grand Hotel at the Grand Canyon, part of Xanterra Travel Collection, is hiring an Inventory Purchasing Assistant Manager to oversee inventory operations across Tusayan sites. You will manage ordering, receiving, and vendor coordination to ensure accurate stock and cost control.

Qualificações

• One year warehouse supervisor experience preferably with food and perishables.
• Computer proficient, able to use Word, Excel and purchasing/inventory tracking software.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, ordering and inventory tracking software.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, vendors and clients.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Basic food sanitation knowledge in handling perishable products.
• Knowledge of food & beverage items, specs, freshness, schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Fully understand and support Legendary Hospitality Standards, Xanterra Mission Statements and Core Values.
• Focus on providing exceptional quality service to internal and external guests.
• Source approved products, monitor costs, and process daily food and non-food orders.
• Manage the full procurement cycle: ordering, receiving, storing, transferring, returning items.
• Follow FIFO inventory procedures and maintain compliance with safety and sustainability policies.
• Inspect arrival quality and reject non-conforming items; update SDS before release.
• Maintain stock requisitions, vendor feedback, and cost-tracking templates.
• Ensure sanitation of storage areas and participate in monthly inventory counts.
• Assist in menu ideas, pricing, and new products with Purchasing Manager/Operations Manager.
