Job summary

Jabil Memphis is seeking an Inventory Control specialist to monitor inventory levels, track traceability, and identify, classify, and root-cause discrepancies. You will provide feedback and potential solutions to the manager to eliminate further issues.

The role requires performing cycle counts, overseeing material transactions, and supporting systems that improve inventory control across the plant. Flexibility for overtime and collaboration with supervisors is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information and respond to groups of managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Proficient with Windows-based software and common office tools.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with company software packages.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and memos.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and traceability for assigned area(s).
• Identify, resolve, and root-cause discrepancies and related inventory errors.
• Recommend changes to reduce future inaccuracies.
• Be flexible for overtime and assist in material handling and cross-training.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory transactions as required.
• Support development and implementation of materials management systems.
