Job summary

Jabil in Memphis, TN seeks an Inventory Control professional responsible for monitoring inventory levels, traceability, and identifying root causes of inaccuracies. You will provide feedback and possible solutions to management to eliminate discrepancies.

Responsibilities include monitoring all material transactions, resolving discrepancies, performing cycle counts, and implementing materials management improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to operate a PC and Windows-based software.
• Advanced PC skills and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret charts/graphs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material transactions for assigned areas.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and root causes.
• Recommend changes to reduce future inaccuracies.
• Overtime flexibility; assist in material handling as needed.
• Eliminate manufacturing downtime in the assigned area.
• Perform regular component cycle counts and inventory transactions.
