Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.

• Ability to operate a PC including Windows-based OS and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to work with standardized situations with variables.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide; compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all material transactions for assigned areas.
• Identify, resolve, and determine root causes of discrepancies and inventory errors.
• Recommend changes to prevent recurring inaccuracies.
• Be flexible to work overtime and assist in material handling as needed.
• Help eliminate manufacturing downtime in the assigned area.
• Perform regular component cycle counts as required.
• Record inventory transactions and reporting on customer systems.
• Assist in developing and implementing materials management systems.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineering, and program management to support plant operations.
