Jabil Lead I Inventory Control position involves day-to-day operational leadership within assigned inventory control areas. You will support team performance, train associates, monitor inventory accuracy, and assist with execution. Works closely with Supervisors to ensure process compliance and achieve departmental goals.

The role emphasizes problem resolution, coordination across functions, and continuous improvement in inventory controls and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP and inventory management tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach and influence others without direct supervisory authority.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet operational deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily direction and support to Inventory Control associates and Material Handlers.
• Coordinating workflow and prioritizing tasks to meet operational requirements.
• Supporting inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Training, coaching, and mentoring team members.
• Monitoring compliance with inventory procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Assisting with troubleshooting inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
• Supporting material flow activities and cross-functional coordination.
• Tracking performance metrics and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
