Job summary

Cerro Wire LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain warehouse and production inventory, perform cycle counts and audits, and work with teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will serve as the subject matter expert on the Inventory Management System (SAGE) and help educate staff on proper inventory practices.

The role requires strong detail orientation, forklift experience, and the ability to work with limited supervision, including weekends or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• English literacy (read, write, speak).
• Basic math concepts.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong Excel, Outlook, and Word skills.
• 3–4 years in a warehouse environment; lift up to 50 lbs.
• 2–3 years in inventory control.
• 1 year forklift experience and safe driving record.
• Willing to work weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Audit 100% of system transactions (Scrap, Production, Shipping).
• Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
• Complete variance reports with research and resolution.
• Retain accurate records.
• Communicate problems/discrepancies with management.
• Additional duties as assigned.
