Job summary

Alamance Foods Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate records, oversee inbound receipts, cycle counts, and transfers, and ensure data integrity in Sage 100 ERP.

You will partner with Receiving, Warehouse, Quality, and Transportation to resolve issues, conduct root cause analyses, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional SCM education preferred.
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or production entry.
• Working knowledge of Scanco, Sage (Sage100 preferred), and handheld scanners.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail; troubleshoot system issues.

Responsibilities

• Review inbound receipts against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory reports and perform adjustments with proper approvals.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts and reconcile variances promptly.
• Validate inventory transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Process and verify cross-site inventory transfers.
• Track CHEP pallet movements and resolve imbalances.
• Maintain hold inventory statuses with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Warehouse, Quality, and Transportation to resolve issues.
• Conduct root cause analyses on variances and implement improvements.
