Talentify in Maple Grove, MN is hiring for an Inventory Control Associate responsible for accuracy and integrity of the store’s inventory. This role supports both full-time and part-time positions, with a focus on POS analysis and data-driven inventory audits.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in inventory control in a retail setting, strong MS Office skills, and excellent customer service. Expect a fast-paced environment with regular cycle counts and process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least one year of inventory control experience in a big-box retail environment.
• Demonstrated point-of-sale analysis and reporting experience.
• Business analysis experience is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills, especially MS Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Strong customer service and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow cycle count and category review calendar; research discrepancies in inventory system.
• Review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy and tag/SKU integrity.
• Audit and report on multiple inventory processes per SOPs and daily tasks.
• Notify management of discrepancies and assist in resolution.
• Audit and document movement of merchandise; ensure security of the facility.
• Support operations during physical inventory periods and daily closeouts.
• Maintain cycle count paperwork and communicate findings with leadership.
