Job summary

Mama's Creations is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to drive accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse and distribution network. You will lead cycle counting, physical inventories, reconciliations, and root-cause analysis while partnering with Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance.

You will oversee SOPs, reporting, and system integrity to minimize losses and support lean, compliant warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy targets across all locations.
• Develop and improve inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Oversee daily inventory transactions, adjustments, transfers, and reconciliations.
• Monitor movement and investigate discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for variances.
• Develop and manage cycle count schedules based on ABC classifications.
• Coordinate annual physical counts and audits.
• Support receiving, put-away, production staging, order fulfillment, and shipping.
• Maintain records in ERP and WMS; generate performance reports (accuracy, turns, shrink, obsolete, aging).
• Develop KPIs and dashboards; recommend system enhancements and automation.
• Ensure compliance with policies, food safety standards, audits, traceability (lot, expiration, FIFO/FEFO).
• Lead recruitment, training, coaching, and development of inventory control staff.
• Identify opportunities to reduce discrepancies and costs; lead lean/sigma initiatives.
