Job summary

Purple is seeking an Inventory Manager to lead all aspects of warehouse inventory for raw materials, finished goods, and non-inventory items. You will coordinate with the Senior Operations Manager and warehouse teams to ensure lean, accurate inventory practices and timely cycle counts.

Ideal candidates have a four-year degree in business or analytics and at least five years in inventory management, with ERP/WMS experience, strong supervision, and data reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Business or Analytics preferred.
• Inventory Management Experience—Minimum of 5 years.
• Strong Supervision and Planning Skills.
• Trouble Shooting Expertise.
• Cycle Count and Inventory Audit experience.
• ERP and WMS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise warehouse inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager on audits, scheduling and efficiency improvements.
• Provide reports on inventory anomalies and open issues.
• Coach, counsel and discipline employees; enforce safety and HR policies.
• Direct Cycle Counts and approve adjustments; maintain Cycle Count progress.
• Work with Logistics, Finance and PW Inventory teams to set up audit timelines and maintain controls.
• Complete daily system comparisons (HighJump/Netsuite).
• Other duties as assigned
