Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Manager of Inventory Control Operations in Lancaster, USA. This role supervises inventory accuracy, receives and ships goods, and drives corrective actions for defects.

You will oversee ICQA staff, implement improvements, and partner with leadership to optimize warehouse performance across the network. You will promote safety, maintain SOX-compliant processes, and manage cycles counts, audits, and data-driven initiatives to reduce variances and improve service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years in a medium to large warehouse in a management capacity.
• 2 years as an Inventory Manager.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety initiatives while ensuring adherence to workplace safety standards for all associates.
• Oversee inventory control activities, including cycle counts and random audits, in line with network counting methodologies and SOX compliance requirements.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, quality metrics, and product integrity, providing timely feedback and recommendations to the operations leadership team.
• Evaluate customer complaints and defect trends, then develop and implement corrective action plans to minimize recurring issues.
• Investigate inventory variances and determine root causes through structured analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Contribute to and lead fulfillment network quality and operational excellence initiatives across multiple sites.
• Support strategic workforce planning, forecasting, and the allocation of tasks and resources.
