Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring an Inventory Material Handler in USA-Lancaster. The role focuses on inventory control, data entry for receipts and shipments, and assisting supervision to meet quality standards in inventory management.

Responsibilities include maintaining warehouse inventory, investigating discrepancies, processing returns, and supporting daily cycle counts. Requires a high school diploma/GED and 6 months in logistics, plus basic computer and MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• May perform inventory investigative work or root cause analysis as directed by Supervisor on issues related to customer concerns or potential non-conformance issues.
• Document “Returns” material coming from customer to facility.
• Ensures inventory is in the appropriate area.
• May suggest the relocation of material to keep and maintain inventory range and locations.
