Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Inventory Manager to maintain perpetual record integrity and maximize space utilization within the facility. You will monitor inventory levels, product movement, and non-conforming stock while guiding inventory staff and ensuring a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires supervising inventory associates, creating space utilization plans, and maintaining a compliant, safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 4 years’ experience in Distribution/Logistics.
• 2 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment in a supervisory role.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.

Responsibilities

• Input data accurately into WMS.
• Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate area.
• Maintain an inventory system and ensure accuracy.
• Maintains and enhances client relationship.
• Develops and implements space utilization plan to meet cost and service standards.
• Develops and monitors the space layout plan to ensure it continues to meet company standards.
• Develops and implements a product locator system and updates as necessary.
• Delegating work and responsibility to subordinates.
• Oversee scheduled shifts and evaluate staff performance.
• Analyze cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical count and records.
• Audit the daily error report and make corrections as necessary.
• Distribute leadership for Physical Inventory.
• Gain knowledge of the Inventory Audit Trail to facilitate corrective action.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with policies.
