Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster (USA) seeks a Supervisor, Inventory Control Operations to maintain stock integrity through cycle counts and analysis, while overseeing inventory staff. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in distribution operations.

The role requires 1 year in logistics, MHE operation, and strong leadership/communication skills. A forklift cert and English proficiency are preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in logistics/distribution.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office.
• RF scanners and WMS familiarity.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Forklift training certification preferred.
• Quality related certifications preferred.
• English reading/writing/verbal; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual record integrity via the cycle count program.
• Oversee inventory associates and shifts.
• Analyze cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Publish monthly data from WMS reports on variances.
• Audit daily inventory processes for safety, quality and accuracy.
• Lead daily startup meetings and coordinate with manager.
• Develop work instructions and staff training.
