The Inventory Manager at Ryder System, Inc. supports warehousing and distribution operations by tracking inventory costs and ensuring KPI achievement.

You will manage cycle counts, oversee the hold process, and provide floor support to operations staff to keep material flow efficient. Reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager, you’ll drive improvements, coach team members, and ensure accuracy in daily operations while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• H.S. diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s in logistics is preferred.
• Three+ years inventory experience in manufacturing/production or distribution.
• Two+ years supervisory experience and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PC inventory and accounting as well as WMS knowledge.

Mansioni

• Track day-to-day facility inventory costs and support KPI targets.
• Maintain daily/weekly/monthly KPI reports and develop control systems.
• Develop and manage cycle counts, recoup/repack/return/recycle programs.
• Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and office staff.
• Lead hold processes and support staff development and evaluations.
• Ensure effective communications and hold regular shift meetings.
