Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality operations in a large distribution and kitting facility, overseeing a team of eight Quality Associates and driving CAPA, audits, and continuous improvement.

You will partner with customers and senior leadership to ensure excellence in quality and safety across the operation. The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and experience in transportation/logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality operations in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Experience managing teams of Quality Associates, Inspectors, or Technicians.
• Capable of root-cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Able to present quality findings to customers and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality operations within a 136,000 sq ft distribution and kitting facility.
• Manage a team of eight Quality Associates; drive quality excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Lead root cause investigations, CAPA, and customer audits.
• Communicate with customers and senior leadership; influence cross-functional teams.
• Utilize quality metrics and reporting to improve operations.
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, invoicing, and safety meetings.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain
