Position Overview:

The Inventory Control Manager will join the Supply Chain Department, overseeing inventory tracking, WIP management, and system accuracy in production.

This role ensures raw materials, WIP, and finished goods records are accurate, supporting production, customer fulfillment, and financial reporting. It is vital for operational stability as production scales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  2. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile variances.
  3. Track WIP materials through production stages, ensuring proper recording.
  4. Maintain ERP inventory records in real-time, updating transactions.
  5. Analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  6. Support inbound and outbound staging with accurate location tracking.
  7. Develop inventory reports and dashboards for visibility.
  8. Partner with leadership to align physical and system counts for scheduling.
  9. Prepare for audits and ensure traceability.
  10. Contribute to continuous improvement in inventory handling and flow.

Reporting To: Head of Supply Chain

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manufacturing, Warehouse, Finance

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years in inventory management, warehouse control, or materials handling.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
  • Experience with cycle counts, reconciliations, and data integrity.
  • Analytical skills for root cause analysis.
  • High attention to detail and organization.
  • Familiarity with WIP tracking and batch control preferred.
  • Food manufacturing or CPG experience strongly preferred.

Success Indicators:

  • Inventory accuracy >98% at all stages.
  • WIP movements accurately reflected in ERP.
  • Timely cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Reliable inventory data for stakeholders.
  • Minimized discrepancies through proactive controls.
