The Inventory Control Manager works closely with the Branch Operations Managers, Strategic Pricing Manager, Regional Operations Managers, RVPs, OVPs, and Warehouse personnel to evaluate, plan, and monitor specific inventory levels to ensure accuracy and meet corporate financial objectives. These decisions are optimized based on understanding of the appropriate inventory procedures necessary to support the company's policies, mitigate risks, and manage financial impacts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following. The company reserves the right to modify these duties as needed. All work should be completed with minimal supervision and in accordance with company standards.
To perform successfully, candidates should demonstrate:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 5+ years of related experience or training.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents; effective report and manual writing; confident presentation skills.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with probabilities, statistics, fractions, percentages, and ratios.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ERP experience preferred.
Primarily office and warehouse settings, with moderate noise levels. Physical requirements include lifting up to 10 pounds, using hands and fingers, speaking, hearing, and occasional standing, walking, or sitting.
