Job summary

Ringgold Telephone Company is seeking an Inventory Control Technician to monitor equipment levels, accuracy, and accounting of all inventory movements. You will manage computerized inventory records and support related procedures, serving as the primary mail courier when needed.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, labeling with barcodes, conducting periodic counts, and assisting with purchasing and disposition tasks.

Qualifications

• Certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience with inventory control and data entry helpful.
• Familiarity with barcode systems and warehouse procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfers and charges out materials to warehouses or departments.
• Prepares materials and documentation for outbound shipments.
• Receives shipments and verifies against purchase orders.
• Maintains barcoding labeling and inventory records in the system.
• Performs monthly physical inventory counts and reconciles discrepancies.
• Operates forklift and related equipment following safety rules.
