The Fresh Market is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to own backroom accuracy, manage dating, and ensure SOP and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with departments, monitor days-on-hand, and verify beer, wine, and spirits inventories to support fresh product availability.

This role requires attention to detail, multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment, and strong collaboration with vendors and maintenance teams.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• 1–2 years of experience coordinating teams.
• Ability to work in cold, wet, and physically demanding environments.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with department managers to oversee inbound/outbound deliveries and resolve open items.
• Monitor and maintain days-on-hand targets for all departments.
• Maintain beer, wine, and spirits inventory records and ensure legal compliance.
• Enforce store receiving protocols including vendor security and backroom access control.
• Verify deliveries, truck seals, and invoices; ensure accurate processing and credit handling.
• Partner with distribution/merchandising teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as primary contact for Maintenance Dispatch Center for equipment repairs.
