Flextronics - The Flex Company in Columbia, SC is seeking an Inventory Control Manager 2 to oversee inventory accuracy and control across the site. You will partner with planning, purchasing, and warehouse teams to optimize performance and reduce excess.

Candidate should bring strong analytical ability, leadership experience, and a track record in improving inventory processes. This role reports to Supply Chain leadership and requires 8+ years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Strong inventory control and materials management experience.
• Experience leading cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Advanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and best practices.
• Ability to analyze data and develop meaningful metrics.
• Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Leadership in coaching and mentoring teams.
• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years in materials, inventory control, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory control activities to ensure accurate records and cycle count compliance.
• Collaborate with customers, purchasing, planning, and warehouse ops to optimize performance.
• Analyze inventory data from MRP systems to identify trends and risks.
• Manage excess/obsolete inventory and disposition activities.
• Develop and enhance inventory control processes and metrics.
