Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of materials experience with advanced MRP systems.
• Extensive knowledge of purchasing policies and practices.
• Demonstrates leadership, people and/or process management skills.
• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes at the site.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business materials.
• Ability to present information to groups of managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high customer satisfaction by negotiating expectations and directing staff to meet them.
• Coordinates with customers, purchasing, project managers, and warehouse managers.
• Evaluates data from the MRP system and reviews site policies.
• Develops metrics to address site or corporate requirements.
• Implements cycle count operations and physical inventories.
• Manages disposition of excess and obsolete materials.
• Leads site inventory governance, SOX compliance, and audits.
• Drives cross-functional inventory improvements with Operations, Finance, Quality and IT.
